Follow Sheldrake Lake Road for about 4.2 km to reach the launch site. An alternative launch is available by continuing on Skootamatta Lake Road for an additional 1.4 km to a fork, then turning left onto Sheldrake Lake Road for 4.2 km. Both points offer parking and access to the river 

    This launch provides a serene starting point for paddling south along the Skootamatta River, leading to the scenic High Falls. The route features gentle rapids and opportunities for wildlife observation, making it ideal for a peaceful day trip
